10 Great Tips For Outdoor Wedding

Let’s move to another section of a wedding venue, as you know. There is 2 type of venue that we know of. That’s right, Indoor and Outdoor. To be precise, we are going to talk a lot about the outdoor one! An outdoor wedding is beautiful and romantic as well, but the preparation is not an easy task to complete. Here are some tips so your Outdoor Wedding comes as beautiful as your brain can imagine!

Backup Plan!

What if it rains at your wedding? Ideally, the outdoor venue provides you with a backup indoor venue as well. Many couples choose to hold reception inside and have the ceremonies outside. In an emergency, we can move the tables to the back side of the ceremony hall. Tents are another choice but only works for mild or moderate one. Heavy rain tends to make the ground soaked, leaving all the guests with wet and dirty shoes. Don’t forget to make sure the tent is sturdy to the point that it won’t be blown away and has a thick and heavy side.

Beware for Wind

A lot of outdoor wedding crushed by windy weather. Avoid using lightweight fabrics such as Chinese chiffon and silk in our dresses and bridesmaid dresses. Don’t forget to tell your hairdresser that we are going to hold an outdoor wedding, and they will arrange what is best for you. Men at weddings must wear pomade (another similar styling product will do as well). Again, tell our guests in printed inserts so they can go prepared. And the last thing, make sure all of the tents will be resistant to strong winds and provide some indoor venue for backup.

Sound System

When you imagine your wedding at some cliff near the beach, the sound didn’t come along, and everything seems so beautiful. But again, there is a roaring sound that comes from the waves, the wind blows you hard and any other sounds. Look for some rental sound system that provides a microphone clip for all the staff, and of course for the couple as well.

Decoration

One bonus of outdoor weddings is the beauty of nature near you so that you can decorate lesser. But we still need to finish some work. Make sure to pay a visit to the site one week before your wedding to ensure that the grass has been cut, the land is swept away, and the flowers bloomed adequately. If our marriage is in a public space, we can ask a male companion or colleague to finish this task in the morning before your ceremony starts. If it’s the coldest season, you might need to add flowers with pot bulbs from the flower shop. Different decorations that you might want to think about are classified as arches or trellises to focus on the ceremony, also trap the bride when they deliver their vows; a string of lights or tree lantern; luminarias; or torch.

Catering

Do your caterers experienced with the menu for an outdoor wedding? Make sure they plan everything that has to remain good outside. Avoid food with mayonnaise or any other dishes that need to be served under a specific condition (cold).

Stay Hydrated

Because alcohol creates dehydration, consider serving various lemonade, tea, and blows. Make sure we have a lot of water and ice around it. For fancy cocktails, maybe mojito or some classic julep? (Mint – Mint will soothe your guests, and it’s refreshing)

Bugs

Put out some candles that can repel insects so your guests won’t be bothered by a horde of bugs roaming around in your wedding.

Consider arranging your wedding time for a sunset where our guests will watch you saying your vows with a background of sunset, and the warm feel. Those who have outdoor weddings during the day must show the ceremony to the point that the sun avoids guests eyes, the sun position should be on their back.

Don’t forget to contact the local government to get your permission. Make sure to ask about the rules about torch lighting, candle, and garbage removal.
